This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application AI Translate: Voice & Image, developed by Sunshine Environment Services Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider"). The service is provided as an Ad Supported service, and is provided "AS IS". By using the Application, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and continued usage constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
Application AI Translate: Voice & Image refers to the software program provided by the Company.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Sunshine Environment Services Limited.
Country refers to: Hong Kong
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a mobile phone or a digital tablet.
Service refers to the Application.
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, provide the Service on behalf of the Company, perform services related to the Service, or assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a voice translation session, number of camera/photo scans, screen translation activity, or website translation requests).
You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The Application acquires the information you supply when you download and use the Application. Registration with the Service Provider is not mandatory unless you choose to create an account for synchronization, backup, or premium features.
User-Provided Information may include, but is not limited to:
Voice & Audio Data: Audio recordings captured through the microphone when you use Voice Translate or Live Conversation features, processed to convert speech to text and generate translations.
Text Translation Data: Text you enter or paste for translation, including messages, emails, articles, and notes.
Camera & Photo Data: Images captured via the camera or imported from your gallery when using Camera Translate, Photo Translate, or Image Translate, used to extract and translate text (e.g., signs, menus, books, labels, documents).
Screen & Website Content: Text selected or captured from your screen, apps, or web pages when using Screen Translate or Website Translate features.
Language Preferences & Settings: Your chosen source and target languages, preferred translation modes, and personalized configuration settings.
Language Lesson Activity: Your progress and interactions with everyday language lessons (e.g., travel, shopping, business, restaurant vocabulary).
Subscription & Premium Service Information: Data related to your enrollment in paid features or premium packages (e.g., unlocking unlimited translations, offline translation packs, or an ad-free experience).
Feedback & Communications: Ratings on translation accuracy, feedback, bug reports, inquiries, or support communications submitted directly via the Application.
The Application does not upload, transmit, or share your files with external servers unless you explicitly use a translation, cloud synchronization, or sharing feature.
The Application does not browse, index, or manage other personal files on your device.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:
- Device information, such as device identifier, device type, model, manufacturer, operating system, and application version.
- Device identifiers, including advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) and analytics-related identifiers.
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP address (coarse location only, for analytics and service optimization purposes).
- Application usage data, including session start and end times, features used (such as voice translate, camera translate, screen translate, or website translate), frequency of usage, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data.
This automatically collected information is used to improve application performance, monitor system reliability, diagnose technical issues, provide analytics, support advertising (if applicable), and enhance overall user experience.
The Application does not collect precise real-time GPS location information. Only coarse location data derived from IP address may be collected for analytics and service optimization purposes.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Only aggregated and anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and related services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this Privacy Policy.
AI & Translation Service Providers – Third-party artificial intelligence and translation API providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google Translate API, or speech-to-text engines) used to process voice, text, image, and screen content for translation purposes.
Please note that the Application integrates third-party services (translation APIs, speech recognition frameworks, analytics frameworks, ad networks) that have their own Privacy Policies about handling data. Below are examples of third-party services used by the Application:

These third-party services may collect, process or store your information independently of the Service Provider; we do not control their data practices beyond the terms of this Policy.
Disclosure of User Provided and Automatically Collected Information
The Service Provider may disclose User-Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.
The Service Provider does not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
Subscription, Premium Services
If you subscribe to premium features within the Application (unlocking unlimited voice/text/image translations, offline language packs, or an ad-free version), the Service Provider may collect and process additional information to manage your subscription, including:
- Payment or transaction status (processed securely by Google Play or Apple App Store; the Service Provider does not store full payment credentials)
- Subscription start, renewal and expiration dates, usage history of premium features.
All subscription-related data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the services, ensure compliance with store policies, and fulfill legal obligations. You may contact the Service Provider at lovanhuong162004@gmail.com to manage, cancel or request deletion of subscription-related data.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
The Service Provider will retain User-Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Automatically collected information is retained for up to 24 months, and thereafter may be stored in aggregated or anonymized form for analytics purposes only.
If you would like the Service Provider to delete User-Provided Data that you have provided via the Application (including voice recordings, translated text, or scanned images submitted for translation), please contact them at lovanhuong162004@gmail.com, and we will respond in a reasonable timeframe. Please note that some or all of the User-Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly (for example translation history or saved language preferences).
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 17. The Application does not address anyone under the age of 17. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 17 years of age.
In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 17 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this information from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider at lovanhuong162004@gmail.com so that we can take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Application.
Please be aware that, although we endeavour to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. Transmission of information over the internet is at your own risk.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy and the revised "Last updated" date. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of all changes.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider's processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing" means using cookies on a computer/hand-held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
Consent also includes processing related to voice, text, and image translation, speech recognition, premium features, analytics and third-party integrated services.
